Growing up in Southern California and the Island of Kauai, I practically lived in the ocean. I learned to surf at a young age and did a lot of competitive surfing from ages 12-20. My love of ocean photography started off with a GoPro and morphed into a Sony mirrorless camera and a water housing.  I don’t limit myself to the ocean, as I love to shoot landscapes of the ocean and the city, or just about anywhere my wide-angle lens will take me.
